Why are you the best suited for this position? (150 words)


I believe in small town USA. I’ve been a resident of Butlerville for 26 years. I volunteer with a local nonprofit, 9Lincoln of Harlan Township.


What are your top three areas of focus for your position?


Keeping Butlerville cleaned up, Improving our town’s sidewalks & public spaces, & keeping our village functioning.


What specifically are you going to do for each of your top three topics? (200 words)


I am in charge of Butlerville Cleanup Day annually, we have already been getting streets and some sidewalk improvements, we have a grant approved for 2025 to do improvements around town hall.


If you are an incumbent, what is your best accomplishment?

If you are a challenger, what do you think needs to change from the current situation?

Unifying a proper council to represent The Village of Butlerville.


What are your qualifications for this position? (150 words)


I was appointed to Butlerville Council in 2023. Before being appointed I was attending regular meetings and helping improve to the council we have currently.


Property tax is one of the top issues for local residents. What are your thoughts on the current property tax issues? (150 words)


I believe, we the people, are taxed enough and we should not have to continuously pay taxes on property that we own!


State laws often impact our county and the funding of local project depends on the state budget. What is your relationship with the local state representatives and senator? (100 words)


No relationship.


How have you been involved in the community outside of politics?


I volunteer with a local nonprofit, 9Lincoln of Harlan Township.

I’m not a politician, just a small town girl trying to keep order and function within the Village of Butlerville. God Bless America.
