Why are you the best suited for this position? (150 words)
Former council member City of Mason and Springdale total 24 years. Former firefighter and paramedic and bailiff Warren County Common Pleas court. Retired Sr. safety engineer Ford Motor Company 33 years. Life experiences to bring solutions to Mason city issues.
What are your top three areas of focus for your position?
Public safety, green spaces, no tax increases.
What specifically are you going to do for each of your top three topics? (200 words)
Continue active support of the city's economic department. Build out Gould property as a passive park. Continue to expand fire department to three stations with no tax increase.

The citizens of Mason work hard for the taxes they pay. Programs and expenditures must provide a real return for their money

Property tax is one of the top issues for local residents. What are your thoughts on the current property tax issues? (150 words)
That is a tough issue. We all like increased value of our property. We don't like the property tax increase that comes with the increase in property values. All branches of government need to understand that. Local, state and federal.
State laws often impact our county and the funding of local project depends on the state budget. What is your relationship with the local state representatives and senator? (100 words)
While on council 2019-2023 council was able to work as a team to obtain significant funds along with city funds to keep the "Cincinnati Open" in Mason for years to come.
How have you been involved in the community outside of politics?

Is there anything else you want the voters to know about you?
I own no property other than my house in the city of Mason. Not a partner in any Mason business. All of campaigns have been conducted without donations.
